Merry Christmas everyone, hope you all are having a wonderful time. Unfortunately I've been in bed all day due to getting sick. Now off to Christmas dinner at a family friend's house. My family doesn't really do much for Christmas, which I don't particularly mind.. it's just the spirit of Christmas that I enjoy.. all the gift giving and the stuffing of faces with lots of baked goods and candy and the appreciation of what others have done for you for the year.

Got some Gelaskins during the Black Friday sales. If you haven't seen them before, they are pretty cool. I've had one on my ipod forever and just got some for my wii and itouch. I love how vibrant the colors are. The hard part is getting them on...

Yesterday, my mom and I put the Christmas tree up. We've had the same Christmas tree for as long as I can remember and it's a lot more work than the trees nowadays with lights already on them. I even saw a couple in the airplane Sky Mall catalog that were completely decorated as well. I grunted and groaned through the process of getting the tree put together, but once we got to the lights and ornaments, I definitely started to feel in the Christmas spirit. The end result is really pretty.. I am a sucker for cute little toy ornaments and we have plenty. Now all I need to do is put some real presents under the tree. I'll put pictures up of it in a later post.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, it's been a lot of catch up at work and I've been tired everyday. Had a great time in Miami with my volleyball team. I managed to learn how to dance to Spanish music and enjoy some nice warm weather. It's crazy how cold it got when I came back, it is now full blown winter around here.

I've been stalking ebay for these Bebe shoes for ages, they remind me of YSL pumps I see a lot.

I'm off to Miami early Friday morning until Monday night. A well deserved vacation with a bunch of girls on my volleyball team. Hopefully it's nice and warm down there, after today's mini hurricane that plagued us, decent weather will be welcoming. As my coworker said, it rained so hard and the wind was so strong that people's Christmas lights were getting blown off.. and do you know how long it takes to put those things up??

I'll definitely be keeping this dress for if/when I get pregnant, which isn't remotely soon but these are the things I think of. It was called "The Artist Smock" dress, a perfectly fitting name because it reminds me of the days when I was in elementary/middle school and had to participate in art. Those were the days..
