Give my nipples a purpose!!

Anyone know where the title is from? Last night's New Girl.. I love my Tuesday night show lineup starting with Ben & Kate, New Girl, and Mindy Project. If anyone caught New Girl last night, swear I'm not as crazy as her, yelling that statement out the window...

Any who, hope you guys all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and stuffed yourselves full of turkey. I know I did! I took full advantage of all the wonderful sales online that began on Thanksgiving. Definitely overdid it with the online shopping.. but as packages have been arriving, I've been rummaging through them and deciding what I love and what I can live without. I'll share some of the purchases with you guys as soon as I can get some daylight photos.

Meanwhile, this outfit is dubbed the Canadian uniform by my boyfriend. Surprisingly he let me (who are we kidding, I would have left the house like this whether he liked it or not) leave the house like this even though he's expressed his lack of fondness for my desire to wear denim and denim together. It was a comfortable outfit for the errands we ended up running that day, we woke up early to drive to Chinatown so I could get my hair cut. I only get my haircut in Chinatown because a) they know how to cut thick Asian hair and b) it costs $25 for a thorough shampoo, cut, and blow dry/style. From what I hear from my friends and past experience, hair cuts at a salons are up to $60 and I'm pretty sure they still don't shampoo your hair as well as they do for me in Chinatown. I don't mind the longer trip to get my hair cut because it gives me a chance to grab some dim sum and other Chinese foods only available to me in Chinatown. These photos were snapped around Chinatown during my haircut adventure!

I feel like I've laid a million eggs and they're all hatching. I feel like I wanna murder someone, and also I want soft pretzels.

It's been a mild fall so far (*cross my fingers that I didn't jinx myself*) and I'm starting to look forward to Thanksgiving and the holidays.  The all Christmas song radio station has begun which I usually look forward to, but somehow the holiday spirit hasn't quite hit me yet.  I'll check in after Thanksgiving to let you know whether anything has kicked in..

Anyway, I'm still on the search for the perfect leather skirt.  I find it a difficult task finding a leather skirt or pants that fit well on my short stature.  It's really easy for something to be too long and make my legs look like stumps, or too short and then I just look trashy.  This one from Zara will suffice for now.. but the search is still on!  Stalking Zara has always been a favorite pastime of mine since they generally have affordable leather items.

Cole Haan Oxfords

I took advantage of the Cole Haan Friends and Family sale to nab my first two pairs of oxfords.  These happen to be the first pair of Cole Haan shoes I've ever owned and everything I heard is true.. they truly are very comfortable (and stylish) shoes.  So far I've only worn the black pair which has proved to be more appropriate for the colder weather.  I've received many compliments including "I like your shoes, they're like old man shoes."  My favorite part is the touch of color the laces add.  I had gotten my boyfriend colored laces last Christmas so he could put them on his oxfords.. and now I've got my very own!

If you can't fix it with duct tape or a martini, it ain't worth fixing.

It's been so hectic with the weather that I haven't been able to take as many pictures lately.  Daylight savings time has also affected my time to take photos since by the time I get out of work, it's already getting dark.  Luckily I have some from the summer to share.  These red shorts were a sale buy from Shopbop during their end of summer sale.  I'm a huge fan of buying clothes during the end of the season just because the sales are always awesome!

Pamela Love x Nine West

My new Pamela Love x Nine West boots!  I wanted them in black but they had sold out in my size so I purchased them in red (after seeing photos of Pamela Love rocking them in both colors).  I was not disappointed, the red is a gorgeous burnt red color and the silver hardware goes perfectly with it.  I love the detailing on these boots, I'll definitely be rocking them for a long time!

Home Sweet Home

I apologize for being MIA, Superstorm Sandy took away my power for a week!  Thankfully all I lost was power for a week, which is nothing compared to some people.  My heart goes out to all those affected by the storm.  Driving home today, I noticed that a lot of people are still without power around here and the days just keep getting colder.  Stay Jersey strong!

On a lighter note, while I was without power, I received a package.  Can you guess what it is?  Snapshots taken from my phone due to the lack of power last week.  Those of you who follow my instagram and tumblr will know...
