Stamped

I've recently been loving custom personalized jewelry.  Over the winter, my cousin visited and we brought her to the Brooklyn Flea Market.  It was my first time there but won't be my last.  There were some great vendors there selling all sorts of jewelry, furniture, clothing, and vintage knick knacks.  I could have spent a fortune in the short time I was there but focused my attention to choosing one thing from the trip.  I ended up admiring this vendor that was hand stamping brass jewelry.  They had everything from necklace pendants, tie bars, money clips, and bracelets.

I ended up choosing a small cuff that fit my wrist (if you're a long follower of my blog, you know how hard it is for me to find bracelets!    After some deliberation, I decided to stamp Smile on my bracelet with my anniversary with my boyfriend on the back because he's the reason I have started smiling more (sappy I know!).  Smile was also inspired by one of my favorite bloggers Andy Torres from StyleScrapbook as she had it tattooed in her handwriting on her which I thought was beautiful.  I love my my little cuff, it's so versatile and easy to wear.  It's also a good reminder to smile.

If you're interested in personalized brass jewelry, visit their website THEA GRANT.  They've got stamped jewelry as well as their own designs!  I thought a stamped tie bar would make a fun groomsmen gift for the future.

  1. Sappy, but adorable. It's always so wonderful to find someone who've made you happier! I love the cuff, and personalised jewelry are such nice pieces because they just hold THAT much more meaning (and sentimental value, haha) <3

  3. that's such a cute story behind your cuff! and I so understand the struggle of having wrists too small for most bracelets.

  4. That is quite adorable. Really really sleek and very minimalistic, I love it. I showed my husband that and he agrees with me, super cool. Keep up all the hard work you put in. It is really paying off. Look forward to seeing more of your work in the future, your blogs are a pleasure to read, thank you again
