Yeah, about that, um... see, the problem is I live here and I'm thinking you live waaaaaay up here.

Shearling is huge this fall/winter and I have been trying to find the perfect jacket. I managed to snag one of the faux sheepskin jackets from Topshop a little while back thinking I'd save it for colder weather. Yesterday, while strolling in the mall, I stopped by Bebe because I knew they also had a shearling jacket. With my luck, there was only one left in the store and the jacket is pretty much sold out everywhere (according to the sales associate anyway...) so I grabbed it to compare. What do you guys think?

On Friday, I saw Vampire Weekend at Radio City which was a great show, they are really awesome live. Before seeing them, I had Shake Shack in NYC for the first time which was just as awesome, soooo good, definitely will want to go back at some time, if only it wasn't only in the city. I will have to be happy with my Five Guys and Bobby's Burger Palace for now.

Got this button up last week and have basically lived in it. I accidentally got a size too big, but I'm loving wearing it open.. the friend I went to see the concert with actually thought it was a jacket which is what I was going for. And these poor booties have gone through hell, they are my go to shoes for any night out of shennanigans with my friends in the city.

I have got, pants down, the best birthday present ever.

Today was my birthday! Long weekend, bbqed, partied in the city last night, fun times. This outfit was from last week, we got an email at work regarding our dress code, which is still casual but they reiterated the fact that we can't wearing anything that hits above the knee (there were a couple of knees showing that day).. so I came up with this for work. I'm cutting it close because it's not actually long enough but really, who wears stuff below the knee at our age? And I'm super short, so it just makes me look shorter. They didn't hassle me about it so I'll have to find more stuff to wear for the summer.

Tired now.. need to recharge. Off to Phoenix for a big volleyball tournament.. hopefully I don't melt because of the heat.
