I've recently been loving custom personalized jewelry. Over the winter, my cousin visited and we brought her to the Brooklyn Flea Market. It was my first time there but won't be my last. There were some great vendors there selling all sorts of jewelry, furniture, clothing, and vintage knick knacks. I could have spent a fortune in the short time I was there but focused my attention to choosing one thing from the trip. I ended up admiring this vendor that was hand stamping brass jewelry. They had everything from necklace pendants, tie bars, money clips, and bracelets.
I ended up choosing a small cuff that fit my wrist (if you're a long follower of my blog, you know how hard it is for me to find bracelets! After some deliberation, I decided to stamp Smile on my bracelet with my anniversary with my boyfriend on the back because he's the reason I have started smiling more (sappy I know!). Smile was also inspired by one of my favorite bloggers Andy Torres from StyleScrapbook as she had it tattooed in her handwriting on her which I thought was beautiful. I love my my little cuff, it's so versatile and easy to wear. It's also a good reminder to smile.
If you're interested in personalized brass jewelry, visit their website THEA GRANT. They've got stamped jewelry as well as their own designs! I thought a stamped tie bar would make a fun groomsmen gift for the future.

Anniversary
I recently celebrated my anniversary in NYC at the Intrepid. Word of advice, don't wear shorts that are too short or you might be "talked to" by an employee there. That's what happened to me, it wasn't serious but a funny thing that had me pulling down my shorts for the rest of the day there. That's what I get for loving One Teaspoon shorts. I finally gave in and purchased a pair after oogling them for the past couple of years. Luckily I didn't buy the style Trash Whores..
