You've just narrowed your world travel plans down to Denver.

Night is coming earlier and cooler weather is swooping in. I dread the moment Daylight Savings Time starts.. why do we need to turn the clocks forward? It just depresses me that night starts even earlier causing me to want to snuggle up in my bed and hibernate.

You know what the problem with maxi skirts (though I love the way they look).. it's that I tend to step all over the bottom and trip if I don't gather them up in my hands. Especially going up the stairs.. you cannot walk up stairs in a maxi and not gather the bottom in your hands. Not doing this will cause you to severely injure yourself as a result of tripping and rolling down the stairs...

  2. I so agree with you on the whole maxi skirt casualty!! Lord knows I've tripped quite a few times when wearing one and when I am forced to carry it in order to maintain gracefulness I begin to ponder why I wore it anyways....the things we deal with for fashion..lol. Anywho I love this look and the mix of textures!!

  8. Love the cut on that sheer skirt! So pretty! I wore a maxi skirt for the first time a few weeks ago and I definitely tripped over many times. They look good but so inconvenient to walk in since I'm so short!

  12. I want a closer look at shoes!! The color of your skirt is the perfect blue shade.

Unfortunately I don't have any photos to share from the trip, but it was amazing, and so relaxing with a couple of days in the mountains. Thanks for the sweet comment!!

  13. I'm in love with your skirt! The color and draping are just beautiful!

You're definitely not the only one who hates changing the clock. I used to live in Indiana where we changed time zones (Eastern in winter and Central in summer) instead of the clocks - I loved it! But now Indiana has switched to clock changing too.

  16. Maxis are most definitely a stair-hazard. Especially when your hands are full and you can't actually gather it up while in said stairs hah.

I absolutely love maxi skirts, though I agree, they're not the most practical of all clothes. The sheer blue skirt you're wearing is divine. I NEED one like that, but in burgundy or black (already got a blue sheer skirt, though not in maxi length).

I love your style, the shoes are gorgeous !
