I gave that man the drunkest years of my life.

Hope everyone had a wonderful time during the holidays!! Christmas Eve was spent at my beach volleyball partner's place for a housewarming/X-mas Eve party. Christmas was spent sick in bed until 4:30 pm / family friend's house for dinner. Since my family doesn't care too much about when we exchange presents, I suggested to my mother that we start a new tradition involving exchanging gifts after Christmas because of awesome post-Christmas sales. That Sunday was spent with friends where we exchanged Secret Santa gifts, ate/drank, and played Risk. Yes the nerdy strategy game involving conquering the whole world. After all the festivities, I helped my friends dig their cars out of my driveway during a blizzard. Luckily, work got canceled the next day due to all the snow and I was allowed an extra day to recover.

New Year's was a low-key gathering of college friends and the rest of the weekend was spent shopping with my mom taking advantage of all the big sales that I couldn't get to last weekend. All and all, a good end/start to the new year :)
