Ooh. Barracuda. What crawled up your culottes?

Fall/winter is always a tough time to take photos. I feel that natural day light makes for the best quality outfit pictures, but I'm going to have to make do with taking pictures inside every once in a while. Soon, it's going to be pitch black by the time I leave from work.. and I will be hibernating underneath my comfortable bed with mounds of blankets on me. Cleaning my cluttered room and getting some actual lighting would probably also help.

Showing off some new shoes.. I wasn't going to get them but they were on sale.. and then I had two coupon codes.. so it just kind of happened. They happen to be quite comfortable, they may become my go to shoes for the fall since I won't be able to wear my Steve Maddens as often. Any suggestions on how to wear them with skinny jeans? As of now I feel like only leggings are going to work with these if I don't plan on wearing anything short.

Also am playing with lipstain here. It's Just Bitten Lipstain + Balm by Revlon. It is applied like a marker and apparently coloring in the lines is not my strong suit.

Instructions for dogsitting my friend's dog "Bring him out to pee as often as possible." Should have listened because in one day, he managed to pee in the house at least 3 times. He also pulled me down the street in my wedges. Of course if I could manage to walk a dog in sky high heels without the crazy stares/hurting myself I'd probably do it.

Finally purchased a denim shirt and I am in love.. it's just so comfortable and versatile, honestly a great buy. Loving the denim on denim look and I finally got around to wearing tights with shorts because of the fall weather.

I have officially stocked up on skinny cargo pants for work. Perfect that they are not remotely jean/denim like in any way.. and they are everywhere for this fall/winter so it wasn't hard to find affordable ones (the pair below is from Forever 21).

My co-worker asked if my shoes were Rag & Bone, I told her they were not and were a fraction of the price from Asos. I also plan on living in these for work. They are absolutely perfect, a slight wedge, which make them comfortable enough to spend the day in. I did try walking around them for a whole night in the city which was a mistake considering it was only the second day of me wearing them. Hopefully after they've been broken in, I'll be able to handle a little more walking in them.

Funny enough, as I'm writing this post, I noticed that pretty much everything I am wearing is stuff I pretty much want to live in for fall/winter. I love this shirt for some odd reason, there really isn't anything particularly special about it, it's comfortable and slightly oversized. I'm not quite sure what exactly draws me to it, but I have a tendency to purchase items and find out whether I love it or not by the number of times I grab it to wear.

Currently relaxing in my basement as it seems to be the only place that isn't extremely hot in my house without that air conditioning on. Need to catch up on movies and shows, in particular the Lady Gaga Glee episode. I'm going to her concert sometime this summer, can't remember the date exactly, but it's pretty exciting since I have only been to one concert in my life. Other than that, I'm just trying to keep cool. My dog couldn't even handle the heat during her short walk, as you can see, this is how she coped with it after we got back to my house..
