Any who, hope you guys all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and stuffed yourselves full of turkey. I know I did! I took full advantage of all the wonderful sales online that began on Thanksgiving. Definitely overdid it with the online shopping.. but as packages have been arriving, I've been rummaging through them and deciding what I love and what I can live without. I'll share some of the purchases with you guys as soon as I can get some daylight photos.
Meanwhile, this outfit is dubbed the Canadian uniform by my boyfriend. Surprisingly he let me (who are we kidding, I would have left the house like this whether he liked it or not) leave the house like this even though he's expressed his lack of fondness for my desire to wear denim and denim together. It was a comfortable outfit for the errands we ended up running that day, we woke up early to drive to Chinatown so I could get my hair cut. I only get my haircut in Chinatown because a) they know how to cut thick Asian hair and b) it costs $25 for a thorough shampoo, cut, and blow dry/style. From what I hear from my friends and past experience, hair cuts at a salons are up to $60 and I'm pretty sure they still don't shampoo your hair as well as they do for me in Chinatown. I don't mind the longer trip to get my hair cut because it gives me a chance to grab some dim sum and other Chinese foods only available to me in Chinatown. These photos were snapped around Chinatown during my haircut adventure!
