I took advantage of the Cole Haan Friends and Family sale to nab my first two pairs of oxfords. These happen to be the first pair of Cole Haan shoes I've ever owned and everything I heard is true.. they truly are very comfortable (and stylish) shoes. So far I've only worn the black pair which has proved to be more appropriate for the colder weather. I've received many compliments including "I like your shoes, they're like old man shoes." My favorite part is the touch of color the laces add. I had gotten my boyfriend colored laces last Christmas so he could put them on his oxfords.. and now I've got my very own!

FRIDAY WITH MY NEW BLAZER
http://www.showroomdegarde.blogspot.com.es/2012/11/blue-blazer-and-brown-details.html
I love these. They are very Euro and I love wearing them with dressy shorts or frilly dresses. I have this oxford style in different colors but not in this brand. --Speaking of which, I just wrote a post about how Cole Haan will soon be changing hands. I hope you get a chance to check it out.

Trendy Teal
Major love! I like both pairs, but the brown ones slightly more because of the lace and the bottoms. When oxfords first came back in trend (brought back by Alexa Chung, I think), I ran out and got meself a pair. "Old man shoes" is definitely the appropriate descrip.

Haha it was a funny moment
I've so many to attend this year (the dragon year) and I'm getting poor just from giving out red packets haha
I actually do think it's a big no-no to wear white to a wedding unless you're the bride. Personally, I'd be peeved if a female friend wore an all-white dress to my wedding. However, if it's actually a dress code/theme requested by the couple, then it's fine, I think :D That's just me thoughts, though
I guess with most traditions, modern times take over and I do see more girls spotting white dresses at weddings
totally lovee these pair
ReplyDeleteboth are gorgeous

ohh! I love the mint green ones, they are so cute! Sadly they would make my feet look big! Hopefully Santa will give me smaller feet for Christmas. A girl can hope!
