The last town we lived in, I fell in love with a boy. Heh. He had long blond hair, delicate features, soft skin... At least, I think it was a boy...

The 90s turtle neck cropped style of this American Apparel top intrigues me. I like having the little bit of skin exposed but nothing too risque.

He just said 2002 was the last palindrome year of our lifetime, & I laughed, and he looked at me weird. A palindrome is some kind of elephant, right?

Everyone in NJ was preparing for Hurricane Irene this weekend. My boyfriend went to Home Depot to get a flashlight only to find them almost sold out and someone telling him that people were going in there to buy them by the boxes. Rather than preparing for the storm, I spent Friday night hanging out with his roommates and Saturday going to the mall with him for some shopping (as his casual wardrobe has not expanded until he met me..).

Saturday, my bf had a mini hurricane party involving eating/drinking (first time I've had "beer in the rear" chicken - delicious I might add). Proceeded to pass out that night and wake up to small branches and leaves all over the front lawn, however everything looked pretty okay. In an attempt to scrounge for some food in the morning, we found out that the whole town area didn't have any power (mainly because none of the traffic lights were working). Strangely enough people were roaming around town but it was all very eerie because there was no where to actually go into. Lounged the whole day watching "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO (thankfully his house had electricity because mine did not).

Woke up this morning to go to work.. it took me 3.5 hours to drive maybe 50 miles ish.. worst commute ever, every time I wanted to go a certain way, there was a roadblock due to flooding. Thank goodness for some beautiful weather and blue skies this week.

Have you seen the new Ellos dress collection? Ellos is a brand new retailer in the UK who are currently expanding overseas. They're a cute new department store with womenswear, menswear and even some kids wear.

This isn't like the pound, where you can take home the one that wags his tail at you...

Testing testing 1 2 3

New little wide angle lens that makes for fun pictures.

I hope all your wishes come true. And when you do become Satan's mistress, don't you forget the little people.

On a rare occasion, a boyfriend has been able to pick out something I wear. In the search for a sundress (which he started me on), he picked out the one dress I kept from Asos. I'm pretty proud of him haha.

Cute little pumps, cute little martini, cute little pills.

my Chloe's are a nice alternative to my mostly black sunglasses collection

This is me as a little girl. Look at that big, goofy smile. STUPID IDIOT, OPEN YOUR EYES, NO ONE'S EVER GONNA LOVE YOU!!

My mother thought she had lost my dog last night. Instead she had accidentally locked her in the same crate as another dog that we are dog sitting. I spent a lot of time laughing over this.

This lace skirt has not been worn nearly enough.. I like the cut of the lining and the way it flares out at the bottom. Now if only I wasn't so short that I need 5 inch heels to keep it from dragging on the floor everywhere...

I couldn't help overhearing... because I was standing here listening.

Why is it that shoes and accessories are so much easier to fall in love versus clothes. At least in my case, I'll spend good money on a pair of shoes / bag / jewelry but when it comes to clothes, I almost always purchase on sale. Then again when it comes to shopping, I try to find some sort of discount, even if it is as little as free shipping. Maybe it's the fact that for me, a good pair of shoes can make an inexpensive outfit seem expensive or give the same dress a completely different look (depending on your footwear). Who the hell knows..

I could hump a tree.

I'm feeling uninspired by my wardrobe lately.

So, how'd you hurt your back? Running away from good taste?

Summary of last weekend, waking up at the crack of dawn to drive down to Atlantic City and play volleyball. We [me, Ainhoa (pronounced i-know-a), Ainhoa's roommate Shane, and Trevor] spent Saturday night there and went out to the Pool Bar at Harrah's that night. The 4 of us had entirely too much fun with the getting ready process... which included an underwear/getting ready party, figuring out that we could open Corona's with the handles on the drawers in the hotel room, random dancing, running around the hallways, and tons of pictures in the bathroom.

Night full of laughter and dancing.

I'm speechless. I don't know what to say, I'd say something if I weren't so speechless, but I'm speechless so I don't know what to say.

Saw "The Help" last night with my friend Nikki. Never read the book but it was a good movie, probably cried 3 times at least (but that's me.. I cry during Disney movies..). I love Emma Stone and everything she's in (just last week I saw "Crazy Stupid Love" which was super funny and adorable). So glad that her career has begun to take off recently.

Anyway here are the remainder photos from the last post. Yet again I bought a sweater that is probably two sizes too big for me but loving it. I happened to wear it last night during the movie with some shorts and still adored the outfit. So easy and versatile.. thank goodness the weather is starting to cool down so I can throw in some of my light sweaters into the clothing mix.

And the busier it gets, the hotter he gets and the hotter he gets, the sweatier he gets; and the sweatier he gets..I forgot where I am going with this

Some old pictures that I haven't posted.. I sort of kind of can't wait for some fall weather.. this seems to happen to me every season. I can't wait for fall during the summer and I can't wait for summer during the winter.. though extreme weather (hot or cold) doesn't make for good outfits (in my opinion anyway....)

And he is cute with a capital Q!

Finally tracked down a pair of Rag & Bone Newbury boots on sale.. now the question is to keep or not to keep..
